Badwater Basin Sunset Elopement
Badwater BasinBadwater Basin is an insane place to visit. For instance, the salt beneath my feet looked like snow and powdered sugar. And although it was hard as a rock, when I got home my boots were sticky with salt. And it covers such a vast distance that it feels like it goes on forever. We shot in this location at sunset so we could catch the sun peaking over the mountains. And it was, GORGEOUS. Out of the three locations we shot at during the "Til Death" Workshop, Badwater Basin was my favorite. Not only was the location beautiful, so were the couple who modeled for us.
2019 is MY YearI really do want to go to another workshop someday for the fact that I met SO many lovely women and fellow entrepreneurs. And it's an inspiring sort of trip full of goal setting and big dreaming. I had a lot of time to reflect on what my future would bring me while I drove those long desert highways. In particular I focused on my goals for 2019. I've told friends and family alike that 2019 is my year. In other words, I plan on achieving the many goals that I only used to daydream about. And this workshop was the first step that I needed to take to inspire and move me in that direction.
Final Thoughts:I'm blessed to have been able to go on this trip. It lit a fire in me that motivated and inspired me. It allowed me to experience the type of travel I may do in the future as a destination wedding photographer. This trip gave me a taste and new appreciation for local locations and landmarks. Living in the Central Valley like I do allows me to visit many beautiful, scenic landscapes within a few hours in each direction. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend investing in a workshop if you're a fellow photographer.
